The design intent for this large barn was to retain all the existing historic wide open oak trusses and leave them as a feature within the open hall stairwell and throughout all the rooms at first floor. A ground source heating system was designed to run all heating and hot water. An adjacent smaller building was converted as an annexe to the main dwelling to form a playroom and gym.
