Including new walled garden, new extensive landscaping and linked new annexe, incorporating office, swimming pool and garaging.
The whole new residence is designed throughout to create a unique interior, expressing the natural beauty and character of the new solid green oak framed trusses and floor beams.
Traditional on-site methods were used to convert whole tree trunk boles of English oak into sections suitable for construction. All stonework throughout, both internally and externally, was worked straight from the quarry and traditionally hand finished in varying styles to suit its location within the house.
This includes a number of new stone staircases, feature fireplaces, quoins, jambs, hood moulds etc. all carefully designed to sizes and surface textures to produce the aesthetic character required. Similarly, solid new seasoned oak was used throughout the interior for floors, stairs, doors etc and all brought together to create a unique timeless exceptional home.
